U.S. Midterm Elections, 2006
Republicans, Democrats... Whatever. Rich white men who are at all comfortable compacting all of their views into one of two offered categories (the two of which are mostly defined by inexplicably controversial minutae, such as abortion, gay marriage, gun control, how best to line the pockets of the wealthy while appearing to give half a shit about the common man, and how to keep all tangeable power out of the hands of the actual American citizens lest it be exposed that the entire American political construct itself is just a broken old theocracy that benifits no one but those already on top).
Sound the trumpets! The American political machine rages on! Huzzah for progress! Or, well, gress, anyway.
