Career Cartoonist II
Does deciding against making a career out of comics make me a reverse-sellout?
I had some brainstorming sessions, the goal of which was to budget life with just my comics to sustain me, and figure out ways to increase revenue. Conclusion: Yawn. Monetizing art is boring and upsetting. Do I really want to turn every other punchline I write into a kitchy t-shirt? No thanks.
As such, I decided I'm gonna try and find some kind of part-time job, not only so I don't need to rely on my comics to eat, but also so I can more easily finance my new, ahem, Top Secret Project. I'll give you guys info when I can, but I'm totally pumped. It's something I've wanted to do for years.
